WASHINGTON, D.C. – Brother Yvan Delgado, (Beta Omega, Spring 2012) attended the Emerging Researchers National Conference in STEM (ERN) from Feb 28- March 02 in Washington D.C. This conference was focused on the STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). As part of his award, Brother Delgado had expenses (flight, hotel, food, etc) paid to attend. Brother Delgado presented his work with the Harvard Forest Summer Research Program, focusing on spiders, during the poster presentation session and received first place in the Ecology/Environmental/Earth sciences area. There were approximately 1000 presentations (among undergrad/graduate orals and poster presentations). Congratulations Brother Delgado!!!
