PARSIPPANY, NJ — The National Executive Board of Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity Inc. proudly welcomes Alfred State College (SUNY) in Alfred, New York as the newest institution to offer membership to our extraordinary brotherhood. The Fraternity congratulates the new colony’s two founding brothers:

These two men have worked tirelessly during the past year to bring Lambda Theta Phi to their campus, and in doing so have created a lasting bond of Brotherhood that they will carry well beyond their college careers.

Alfred State Colony is the 119th undergraduate entity of Lambda Theta Phi, it’s 9th in New York and the first Latino Fraternity at Alfred State.

The Brotherhood also wishes to recognize the brothers who devoted their time, energy and passion to expanding the reach of Lambda Theta Phi and the Latino Greek Movement. Thank you to Pledge Master, Matthew Zayas (FB SUNY Buffalo Colony, Spring 2012), Assistant Pledge Master James Lopez (FB SUNY Buffalo Colony, Spring 2012) and the brothers of New York Sector 1 for leading the two new brothers into the Brotherhood.  The board also wishes to thank the Northeast Regional Expansion Officers, Jorge Cariga (FB Beta Nu, Spring 2001) and Shà Quan Holmes (Beta Phi, Spring 2007) for coordinating this effort.
