Senator MenendezBROTHER MENENDEZ WINS RE-ELECTION
It was inspiring to see so many of our brothers take part in this year’s elections. Latinos across the country stepped up to the plate yesterday and made a real difference, especially in the crucial swing states. This year not only decided the direction of our nation, but the political future of one of our own, Brother Bob Menendez.
Brother Menendez has been the leading advocate on capitol hill for issues affecting Latinos across the nation. His service to this nation stems far beyond the state of New Jersey as he has served and continues to serve on the National Banking, Finance and Foreign Affairs Committees.
Having served for six years as a Democractic U.S. Senator for the State of New Jersey, Brother Menendez put his record up against that of New Jersey State Senator Joseph Kyrillos. After a long and hard fought campaign, Brother Menendez defeated his challenger by a margin of nearly 20 percentage points, 58% to 40%.
Please join me in congratulating Brother Bob Menendez on his re-election to the U.S. Senate!
