Lambda Theta Phi is committed to stand with our brothers and all dreamers across the country. Lambda was founded on the belief that Latino Unity is essential in order to create cultural, social, and political awareness in the Latino community and in the American society. As an organization established at institutions of higher education and members who currently receive Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program (DACA), we are committed to become a positive and constructive force for helping our total Latino community.
In partnership with FWD.us, we ask that all brothers, friends and allies to stand with dreamers and stand against the repeal of this opportunity. The DACA program is absolutely correct and critical for Dreamers, their families, and our nation. The consequences of repealing DACA would be massive, and would eliminate the ability of 800,000 young people to continue to live, work and contribute to this country. Repealing DACA would impact almost every major company, industry, and community in America. 10 states threatened to file a lawsuit if the federal government does not immediately repeal the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program (DACA). Let’s stand UNITED for our community.
