LOS ANGELES, CA – The Southern California, Los Angeles Alumni colony, now Lambda Theta Alumni Chapter, hosted a toy drive in the month of July to benefit the terminally ill patients of Children’s Hospital of Orange County. Through generous contributions of brothers, family, and friends of Lambda Theta Phi, a total of $690 was fundraised along with toys valued at over $150. Word-of-mouth outreach was done to raise awareness of the fundraiser among alumni, sector and undergraduate brothers. It is truly the kindness of brothers who opened their wallets and hearts to help the chapter surpass its original goal of $300.
Upon receiving the funds and toys, the Children’s Hospital of Orange County sent the following note to the chapter:
