Parsippany, NJ, February 1, 2012 – Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity Incorporated, the first and largest Latino fraternity in the country, alongside the American Heart Association, is conducting its annual Nickel Drive to benefit the AHA in research of Heart Disease, Stroke, and other related health concerns.

Fellow Greek Community and friends, please join us in uniting together to wear RED on Friday, February 3, 2012 forNATIONAL WEAR RED DAY. Our chapters nationwide will all be wearing RED in support of women’s heart health in the fight against the number one killer, heart disease.

Again, also please support us on this year’s National AHA Nickel Drive that will run from January 12th, 2012 until February 29th, 2012. All proceeds collected will be donated to the AHA. Founded in 1924, the AHA is dedicated to building lives free of heart disease and stroke through research, education, and prevention.

Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc was founded at Kean University, NJ on December 1, 1975. The first and largest nationally recognized Latin Greek-letter organization and first Latin Fraternity recognized by North-American Inter-Fraternity Conference (NIC), Lambdas champion scholarship, culture, community service, and the advancement and fair treatment of Latinos.
