The 4th Executive Director of Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc., Dr. Andrew Ramjit is a graduate of the Florida State University where he completed a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Social Science. Director Ramjit also holds a M.S. and Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. Director Ramjit has worked for over 11 years in K-12 Education; serving as a classroom teacher, school administrator, and now a district administrator. Currently, Director Ramjit works as the Assistant Director of Student Activities for Brevard Public Schools, one of the 50 largest school districts in the country. In his role, Director Ramjit oversees all athletics and student activities in a school district serving over 70,000 students. He is also responsible for Title IX Investigations, facility assessments, budget allocations, and leadership development.
Director Ramjit has an extensive history of involvement within Lambda Theta Phi. Brother Ramjit entered the Fraternity as a brother of the Beta Iota Chapter at Florida State University on November 13, 2005. Brother Ramjit credits both his brother Steven Ramjit (Beta Iota, Fall 2004) and former AP United States History teacher, Ricardo Marino (Phi, Spring 1997) for introducing him to the brotherhood. Since his induction, Brother Ramjit has held several leadership positions within the fraternity including South Atlantic Regional Vice-President. Brother Ramjit, along with the Beta Iota Chapter were instrumental in the expansion of Lambda Theta Phi in the South Atlantic Region, starting with the Gamma Epsilon Chapter (University of Georgia).
Director Ramjit will begin his work with the Fraternity effective January 1, 2022.
