PARSIPPANY, NJ — As of its October 18, 2016 National Board meeting, Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc. granted two new chapter charters. These two charters were for the reclassification of undergraduate colonies as chapters. The National Board of Lambda Theta Phi is invested with the power to grant charters to colonies that have completed the requirements for charter as established in the Administrative Policy Manual and as granted in the National Constitution.
The establishment of these two new chapters brings the total undergraduate charters to 107. These undergraduate chapters continue to mark a milestone for the Fraternity, as they are chapters to reach charter with the delta prefix getting us that much closer to reaching another prefix.
California State University, Northridge Colony was founded on June 16, 2012, in Los Angeles, CA. They are affiliated with California Sector 3 and has been reclassified as Delta Kappa Chapter. Delta Kappa is the 106th undergraduate chapter of Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc.
Armstrong State University Colony was founded on October 18, 2014, in Savannah, GA. They are affiliated with Georgia Sector 1 and has been reclassified as Delta Lambda Chapter. Delta Lambda is the 107th undergraduate chapter of Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc.
The National Board of Lambda Theta Phi congratulates our two newest chapters for their efforts in establishing a significant presence of the Fraternity in their communities that upholds our fraternal values and vision. The Board also thanks California Sector 3 and Georgia Sector 1 for its support of the colonies as they transitioned to chapter status. The discipline and leadership of all brothers involved continue to advance Lambda Theta Phi as the Leader of the Latino Greek Movement.
