I hope that you are doing well. I continue to be amazed with your unrelenting commitment to our brotherhood. I remain thrilled to have leaders such as you guiding our fraternity.
As you know by now, a major earthquake has impacted the people of Peru. We are holding a benefit at the home of two of our brothers, Ed and Bill, to help with the relief efforts. This Cocktail/Dinner Fundraiser will be held on Thursday, August 23rd at 1128 Broad St Clifton, NJ. There will be food, drinks and entertainment from
5PM-9PM. I have attached a copy of the invitation. We suggest that those wishing to attend this dinner or help with this cause use the link on this invite to make a contribution and then RSVP. We expect that almost 100% of the funds received will be used to help those afflicted by the earthquake since most of the event expenses will be covered by contributions from brothers and supporters of this effort.
To ensure the success of this benefit, I am asking for your personal support in attending this fundraiser, contributing to the cause and promoting this charity event with brothers and other interested parties. I hope that with your help all brothers in the quad-state area can participate in this event. This affair requires a tremendous commitment from all of us. Any brothers wanting to help with this event can call me directly.
Our goal is to raise a minimum of $10,000.
Shortly after the event, I will personally fly to Peru to locate the targeted families and purchase the needed food, water, clothing and other day-to-day essentials. I will also document some parts of my trip to Peru and share photos and video with all those who participate in this endeavor.
