Earlier this month we notified you of the loss of one of our own. Brother Roger Mendiola was from the University of Northern Iowa Colony and passed away after complications from gall bladder surgery. President Grajales put it best in his message to the Brotherhood: “Nothing reminds us more of the importance of valuing one another and cherishing the bonds our brotherhood has brought to our lives. It is in moments like these that our first reaction is to think of the time we did not spend with Brother Mendiola or never having the opportunity to actually meet him. But it is our duty to remember the person he was, the lives he touched and impact he made upon everyone who knew him.”
