Big Changes for Alumni Affairs

by Jeff Diaz (Epsilon, Spring ’84)

Dear Alumni

I would like to send a special hello to all our Lambda alumni across our great nation and say change is coming.  I would like to take this opportunity to reiterate all the changes that have transpired so far:

  1. NEW DUES: Alumni dues have been reduced from $125 to $100.
  2. NEW GRAD RATE: Recent graduates will have even further reduced dues at just $75.
  3. ALUMNI DUES ALLOCATIONS: Alumni will be able to choose where to send $25 of their dues (undergraduate chapter, alumni chapter or the national alumni budget).  At this time our financial system will not allow us to do this directly, so we will be contacting active alumni via email to ensure your selection is honored.  Be on the lookout for this email in the coming month.
  4. ALUMNI BUDGET: A portion of the budget has been allocated specifically for alumni events and alumni support.
  5. ALUMNI COMMITTEE: We are creating the first Alumni Committee, comprised of the presidents of every alumni chapter/colony, every sector alumni affairs officer, and a few other seasoned alumni.
  6. ALUMNI SURVEY: An alumni survey will be sent to all alumni to hear what they want to see happen for alumni during this term.  Be on the lookout for an email link to this survey this month!

Remember, the success of our organization depends on everyone’s participation.  My ultimate goal is to establish a national network which epitomizes our motto “En La Union Esta La Fuerza”.  These are exciting times!  I encourage brothers to spread the word throughout our nation that we need every brother to come back.

God Bless Lambda Theta Phi!
