Happy Founder’s Day!

Hello Brothers:

On this day thirty seven years ago, the Latino Greek Movement saw its birth and, with it, the beginning of a new era. Thirty seven years ago our founders took a stand against the injustices that, to this day, still plague Latinos across the nation. Fourteen young men were immortalized in history as the first to establish a collegiate brotherhood focused on the advancement and progress of Latinos.
On this thirty seventh anniversary, our Brotherhood stands stronger than ever. Our brothers understand and posess a steadfast resolve that “in unity there is strength.” The movement that began at Kean University now spans the nation and helps mold not only the lives of its members, but the advancement of identity and equality of Latinos as a whole.
Today we celebrate our uninterrupted longevity and the tireless work and accomplishments of all those before us, including the important contributions of our founding fathers, fraternal fathers and many, many leaders throughout the Lambda Nation.  As we welcome our next chapter, I am confident that our future is bright and our resolve unwavering. Felicidades hermanos y ¡que Dios bendiga nuestra hermandad por siempre!
Fraternalmente,
Jose Gustavo Grajales
National President
