Greetings Brothers:
As Americans, we enjoy unparalleled freedom. Freedom that allows us to speak our minds and take part in the open pursuit of happiness. Sadly, this freedom is often taken for granted, and assumed to be an innate right that came without a cost–but that assumption could not be further from the truth.
Since the beginning of the Revolutionary War that birthed this great nation, our freedom has been built on the ultimate sacrifices of brave men and women. Men and women who believed that the freedom we enjoy was worth giving their life.
Today, amidst all the fun memories of being surrounded by friends and family, we must take a moment to honor those who have paid the ultimate price for our nation by valuing and cherishing our freedom. Let us never forget that where we are today came at a price few are willing to pay.
To all of our Brothers who have served or are serving our nation, thank you. May your sacrifices, and the sacrifices of your fellow soldiers, never be in vain.
