National Updates

Each month we highlight national events and the great work brothers are doing throughout the Lambda Nation.  If you have events or milestones you want to share with the Brotherhood, send them to.

Brother Oliver Fajardo Appointed as National Historian
At the National Executive Board meeting on December 19, the board voted to appoint Brother Oliver Fajardo as the new National Historian.  Brother Fajardo has already done extensive work developing a history of Latino Greeks and Latino student organizations.  This new position will allow him to continue his work as official historian and begin cataloguing the history of Lambda Theta Phi.  +

Director of Expansion Resigns
On December 18 Director of Expansion, Jorge Cariga, resigned from his office citing family and personal concerns.  Director Cariga has served the Brotherhood as National Vice President, Sector Vice President, and Regional Expansion Officer in addition to his contributions to his chapter, Beta Nu, as a founding brother.  His presence on the board will be missed and the National Executive Board wishes him well as he takes some well deserved time off from official duties.  A new director of expansion will likely be appointed in January.   +
